Dear Friends,

What an amazing few months it has been! I have had the opportunity to travel throughout Westchester and speak with countless leaders, activists and citizens concerning the issues we find most important, including lowering our tax burden, increasing the effectiveness of Albany, and rebuilding the Republican Party. I remain committed to these very important goals, however, after much consideration, I have decided not to run for the New York State Senate at this time. I intend to return the contributions we received, and I thank those who were prepared to fund our efforts.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to those who encouraged me as I considered the State Senate run. I hope to see many of you on the campaign trail in the months ahead as we move forward in support of our party's presidential candidate, John McCain, and our talented slate of local Republican candidates!
